Trustpilot calculated Air Malta's score 1.7. The latest review – Will never ever use again! We missed our flight with Easyjet and my partner and young son was very stressed. So I went over to Air Malta desk and enquired about first class so can hopefully have a nice experience. The cost was £800 each which was alone extortionate but they said will be a first class service with food and drink etc so I paid it. We still had to queue first of all with our luggage. But the most RIDICULOUS thing was as soon as we got on the plane they said they had no food for us! I was disgusted and said we wouldnt have paid this for nothing and was not advised otherwise! The passengers directly behind us (who were in economy seats) couldnt believe it and kindly said to the cabin crew it was a joke. The cabin crew themselves were embarrased and said please do contact complaints and they will issue a refund. We have several times - and nothing - are just dismissing the claims. What capped it all off was they said we could have a free sandwich - but only one - so I had to pay for the rest of the food for my family! - really was a joke! We are getting married in Malta next year and will have approx 100 people flying over - lets just say we will not be recommending Air Malta STAY AWAY!!!!.
