Trustpilot calculated American Home Shield's score 1.2. The latest review – I have problem with the water heater tank. Called AHS for contractor , they referred to a contractor who had several customer complaint about this contractor. I called AHS and told them i want different contractor AHS replied they don't use online rating. That contractor never called me back even I left message on the night before. I have to call a different contractor myself and cancelled with AHS request. If you have no hot water in the winter with kids at home you'll understand how urgent to fix the hot water tank. I called ASH to cancel the contract 2 weeks ago, they said yes they'll cancelled and someone will call but it never happened. I called 2nd time to cancel again they said I cannot cancel because my wife name is on the contract she has to call it herself. AHS tried everything to fool around so they can automatically charge monthly. Finally , they transfer me to the cancel department ( thanks god they do ) now I have to pay cancellation fee and the contract ends immediately even though I've already paid the whole month. Stay away from AHS really..
