I ordered directly from this company ONCE and had to write multiple emails chasing the despatch of my item, most of which went ignored until I threatened to open a dispute with PayPal. After that, I never ordered directly from them again but would sometimes purchase through Superdrug or Beauty Bay, thankfully two decent companies who don't mess people around with delivery and customer service. Their products were once indeed revolutionary and were incredible for the price. Now, not so much. If you've got one of their palettes, you've got them all. Their collabs are repetitive and the frequency of them means no one even bats an eyelid now when another is released. Their eyeshadow quality or lack thereof shows itself in their dark matte shades - very powdery and poor pigmentation. Often impossible to build up at all and end up reverting to another palette to complete the look. Other brands similarly priced now do a better job, like Elf and Colourpop. Their customer service is basically non existent which showed itself recently when they forced everyone to change their password after updating their website. Every single password I chose came back with an 'invalid entry' error and I couldn't even log in, let alone place an order. I sent them a message on Instagram to ask them how the hell I was supposed to get back into the site and they just blocked me. No response, nothing. Again showing their ignorance. They are now not even acknowledging one of their previous major promoters of their brand, Samantha Jaelle, who has just been diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour. Not even a donation has been sent her way. They were very dismissive of her when she was actively promoting their products and instead of offering her a collab, would offer them to younger influencers instead. Clearly didn't want an older person to be a face of their brand, despite how much good that person had done for their brand and their reputation. Well, that reputation is very much on its way down now. You only have to look at comments on social media, not only about Samantha but about their customer service, products and general attitude to know that this brand is on the way out unless it sorts itself out. MUR is no longer a standout brand on the market. Plenty of others now do just as good or better. I will no longer be purchasing any of their products and I won't shed a tear when they die out..
